Express Entry

If you desire to immigrate to Canada under the Express Entry program (skilled worker) you must have worked under skill level 0, A or B to qualify underthis program. Again, the key to a successful application is to accurately determine the National Occupation Classification (NOC) code.Apply for permanent residency under the Express Entry program in the following categories:

  • Federal Skilled Worker
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program
  • Canadian Experience Class
  • Provincial Nomination Programs

Steps to apply for Express Entry

1. Determine your eligibility
Assess your eligibility to apply before creating a profile. Your assessment is based on age, education, work experience, language ability, arranged employment and adaptability selections factors.

2. Assess your education
Get your education credential assessment (ECA) by an accredited organization. ECA reports are valid for five years from the date of issue

3. Complete your language test
To create your online profile you need your English and/or French language test results. Minimum language requirement depends on the program of application. Language test results must be within two years before the profile creation date.

4. Create your profile
If you meet the minimum requirement then you may create your online profile. You will enter the prospective pool of candidates waiting to be invited to apply (ITA).Express Entry profile is valid for 12 months.

5. Wait to be invited
Submit your online profile and wait for invitation to apply in the next draw. You may be invited to apply. Gather all your documents e.g. experience letters, proof of funds, while waiting for the invitation.

6. Apply for Permanent Residence
You may be invited for permanent residence. If invited then you will have to submit all your documents and pay the fees within 60 days of invitation.
